Weekly Rainbow Chats

Rainbow Chat is an opportunity for UGA students to talk in an open and supportive environment about issues impacting their lives and the LGBT community. UGA students can use the groups to discuss topics ranging from coming out to spirituality. The groups have facilitators to provide guidance and resources. Groups provide a supportive environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning UGA students.

Rainbow Chat Discussion Groups include:

Gender Focused Chat – Tuesdays @ 5:30pm
Coming Out/Questioning Chat – Tuesdays @ 7pm
Men’s Chat – Wednesdays @ 7pm
Women’s Chat – Thursdays @ 7pm

All chats are held in 221 Memorial Hall on the UGA campus.

Confidentiality is an important aspect of these groups, therefore, they are not open to individuals writing papers for classes, the newpaper, or other projects. If you want to learn more about the LGBT community, you may stop by the LGBT Resource Center during its regular business hours. Visit www.uga.edu/lgbtcenter/ for more information.

Contact Jennifer Miracle at jmiracle@uga.edu for more information about Rainbow Chats or any programs run by the UGA LGBT Resource Center.
